Questions & Answers

  • We love your little ones, truly — but our cozy venue has its quirks: stairs, a busy street outside, and not a juice box in sight. It’s more of a dancing-and-cocktails kind of evening than a crayons-and-high-chairs affair. We trust your judgment and want everyone to feel comfortable — just know the night is designed with the grown-ups in mind.

  • Dress up with a touch of western soul. Think flowy dresses, boots, blazers, dressy denim, or vintage-inspired pieces that move and shine under the lights.

If you’ve got a bolo tie, a great hat, or your grandpa’s belt buckle we want you to wear it. It’s prairie polish meets rock-and-roll romance.

  • Katherine Albertson Park has plenty of parking just outside the park entrance. From there, it’s a short walk (less than a mile) to The Rookery, where we’ll say “I do.” Plan accordingly — think comfortable shoes, a light breeze, and a little stroll through the park before the party begins.

  • If you’re driving, we recommend parking in the 9th & Main Street Garage in downtown Boise. Otherwise, feel free to Uber, Lyft, or take a leisurely 1.5-mile stroll from Katherine Albertson Park through the heart of the city. You’ll also find Lime scooters and bikes along the way if you’re feeling a little adventurous — it’s Boise, after all.

  • Anne Morrison has ample parking near the area we’ll be meeting. You can enter from the west or east side of the park and find a spot. Follow the Greenbelt until you see the signs!

  • Our menu will feature a variety of fresh, seasonal dishes that we hope everyone will enjoy. While we’re not able to accommodate specific dietary requests, if you have a serious allergy, please let us know ahead of time so we can share that information with our caterer and do our best to help you celebrate safely.

  • Your presence is truly the greatest gift. We’re so grateful to celebrate with the people we love most.

Our registry includes a honeymoon fund and a house down payment fund — for the next nest where we can keep growing together. If you’d like, you’re welcome to contribute to an experience or help us build our future in whatever way feels meaningful to you.

For those who prefer something tangible, we’ve included a few handpicked items we love. And if your heart leans toward the handmade, we’ll treasure anything crafted or chosen with care — the thought means the world to us. 💕

  • You can RSVP right here on our website! It’s a simple form — quick, easy, and helps us plan all the details for the big day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

  • No official shuttle, but the reception’s only 1.5 miles away! You can take a scenic stroll through Boise, hop on a Lime scooter, grab an Uber, or carpool with fellow guests. It’s a beautiful walk and a great way to enjoy a bit of the city between celebrations.

  • Absolutely! Snap away and tag us — we can’t wait to see everything through your eyes. We just ask that, like at the movies, you silence your phones and devices during the ceremony.

  • Idaho law allows permitted concealed carry, and we’re comfortable with that. We just kindly ask that no firearms be carried openly at the wedding. We want everyone to feel relaxed and focused on the love — not the hardware. In short, maybe let your little friend sit this one out. 💕

  • Flying in? Head to the Boise Airport (BOI). It’s small enough to be stress-free, big enough to get you where you need to go, and just a short trip from downtown Boise.

  • Not unless you want to venture beyond downtown! All wedding events are within three miles, so you can walk, scoot, Uber, or carpool easily.

If you’re traveling with young children, a rental might come in handy. Otherwise, you’re covered. If anyone does need a lift, the bride’s dad will be on call with a smile (and his trusty truck).

  • A room block is reserved at The Sparrow Hotel in downtown Boise — just minutes from our venues and all the downtown charm.

For those looking to explore a bit, you’ll also find plenty of boutique hotels and trusted chains nearby.

If you’d like a more local experience, Airbnb has some wonderful spots in Boise’s North End, where tree-lined streets and historic homes offer a true taste of the city.

  • Dogs are welcome at Anne Morrison Park, Katherine Albertson Park, Camel’s Back Park, and Payette Brewing! Unfortunately, we can’t invite them to the reception venue.

If your pup is friendly and good around kids, feel free to bring them along to the outdoor festivities. We’d love to meet them!

We’ll toast, dance, and cut some cake. It’s our favorite season in our favorite place, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
